I love the photo about a "Falcon-in-a-tree" because at age 66 this is how I sometimes think about my life - stuck high above between the brambles but the engine is still strong if I could just get the wheels back on the ground. Of course, this next picture is how I envisioned myself as a young man:
Think about it - here we have a humble German bubble car with a 750hp drag motor. This thing is the most amazing car on the planet not owned by Leno's Garage.
If you want to see more micro-cars, the next link is one of my favorite sites and I can spend hours on it marveling about the ingenuity my forefathers exhibited when I was a little kid in Austria. My first car was a Goggomobile which you can see in these pages.:

In this blog I will chronicle things you possibly never even heard of, from the weirdest airplanes and cars to sports still popular in Europe that would make any NASCAR driver faint dead like the ski races behind powerful motorcycles and my favorite sport, ski-flying, not to mention quaint 200 mile ice skating events.
So, stay tuned. It will start tomorrow morning, December 9 and I promise you an interesting article or two every day.
Should I feel the need to write one of my political editorials, please bear with me; As a journalist of 42 years of duty, sometimes this urge to exercise my incredible powers of observation, clinically acute judgement only tempered by my great love of humanity makes me write those eloquent contributions to world literature.
Of course you could just not read any of it. It will be your great loss not mine. There are better outlets than this one who gladly publish me without ever paying me either.
NOTICE:
Contributions are always welcome but I do the same as the Huffington Post - I don't pay you zilch!
Cheers
